Let Us Give Your Bathroom a Refresh

Sometimes the most used room in the house can also be the most neglected. Our bathrooms are our sanctuaries and you deserve a spa like experience every time you enter.

This is why our Norwich based customer got in touch with us to help with the refurbishment and remodel of their family bathroom. This involved a whole new bathroom suite, brand new flooring and retiling of the walls.

Bathroom Renovation Overview

Before we started

We carried out the removal and disposal of old flooring, sanitaryware, and wall tiles. Existing walls and door linings were altered and extended. The doors were rehung, architraves replaced, and holes in walls were repaired. Hot and cold water supplies were altered to suit the new bathroom layout.

This provided the best possible start to the works.

Flooring

As we had removed the previous flooring, we could go straight into preparing with 6mm plywood, followed by the installation of Polyflor vinyl flooring.

This gave a practical, yet still great looking option for the space.

Tiling

A flat plaster finish was applied to all walls and the ceiling, preparing them for tiling.

White bumpy wall tiles with white trims and grout were installed on all walls.

Suite

We fitted a white stone resin anti-slip shower tray, along with a square chrome double-headed thermostatic shower and enclosure. The vanity unit included a white ceramic sink, chrome mixer tap and waste. For the extra luxury touch, a quiet close toilet seat was also installed.

Finishing Touches

We provide a bespoke service in all we do. We allow for any little extras that might be needed, such as in this case adjusting and moving of the pull cord, painting of cupboard doors and making sure we have the right people on hand to carry out these tasks.

Going the Extra Mile

We placed insulated plasterboard on the ceiling to improve the u-value of the room as it is a north facing and close boarded ceiling, to help make the bathroom more cosy.

As the existing heating system was a heat source air pump. We needed to get the expertise of a specialist to ensure the radiator was removed, repressured and retested before putting back.
